Juno Ultra-Efficient Velocity & Torque Control ICs
The Juno® Velocity and Torque Motion ICs deliver impressive power and precise, four-quadrant current control for brushless DC, DC brush, and step motors. Designed for next-generation servo motor applications in liquid pumping or high-speed motor control. The Juno family delivers precise ramp-up and ramp-down, field oriented control, and smooth, quiet motor operation over a wide range of operating conditions. Eliminating the need for homegrown multicomponent solutions, Juno ICs are easy to deploy with preprogrammed motion commands and onboard safety and performance-monitoring intelligence-including overcurrent, over- and under-voltage, overtemperature, current integration limits, and communication monitoring.
Magellan MC58113 Motion Control IC
MC58113 Single-axis Positioning Motion Control IC with Current Control Our Magellan® MC58113 Motion Control IC provides high-performance motion control with an integrated digital current loop for medical, scientific, robotic, and automation applications. Available as a single, one-axis IC, the MC58113 IC is a programmable device that provides positioning, velocity, and torque control for Brushless DC, step, and DC Brush motors. This versatile and powerful IC provides profile generation, servo-loop closure, commutation, and pulse and direction output along with direct quadrature encoder input. Advanced digital current control and amplifier switch signal generation technology provides smooth, ultra-quiet operation – particularly useful for eliminating the noise associated with step motors.
Magellan MC58000 Motion Control IC
Magellan MC58000 Multi-axis Positioning Motion Control IC The Magellan® MC58000 Motion Control IC provides high-performance motion control for medical, scientific, robotic, and automation applications. Available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-axis versions, the MC58000 IC is a programmable device that provides position and velocity control for Brushless DC, step, and DC Brush motors. This flexible and powerful chipset provides profile generation, servo-loop closure, commutation, and pulse and direction output along with direct quadrature encoder input. Motor command output is provided for PMD's Atlas Amplifier modules, on-card PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) IC amplifiers, or +/- 10V input amplifiers.
Magellan MC55000 Motion Control IC
Magellan MC55000 Multi-axis Pulse and Direction Motion Control IC The Magellan® MC55000 Motion Control IC provides high-performance motion control for medical, scientific, robotic, and automation applications. Available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-axis versions, this flexible, programmable device provides profile generation and pulse and direction output for step motor-based systems.
The MC 73110 Motor Control IC provides high performance digital current loop, velocity loop, and commutation, for brushless DC motors. This intelligent single-axis drive controller operates in internal velocity profile mode, velocity mode with an external velocity command signal, or torque mode with an external torque command signal. The MC73110 can be operated standalone, using pre-programmed flash-stored parameters, or through the serial port using microprocessor-style commands.
MC73110 Developer's Kit
PMD's DK73110 Developer's Kit is a complete, integrated intelligent amplifier that utilizes the MC73110 Motor Control IC and drives a 3-phase brushless motor at up to 10 amps. All features of the MC73110 can be exercised including analog velocity or torque control, commutation, current loop, and profile generation. The DK73110 can be used to prototype your motion hardware, develop your application code, or measure system performance. To create a complete functioning motion system, only a 3-phase brushless motor is required. The kit also includes PMD's Pro-Motion GUI, an interactive WindowsTM-based exerciser and data capture program, and C-Motion, which simplifies the development of motion applications using C++.
The Navigator® Family of Motion Control ICs delivers highly integrated, motion control technology for controlling multiple motor types including DC Brush, Brushless DC, step, and microstepping. Navigator motion control ICs are available in 1, 2, and 4-axis configurations, and are ideal for semiconductor handling, industrial equipment, and security. Applications include DC motor speed control and high-performance motion control.
The Pilot® Family of Motion Control ICs provides single-axis motion control for Brushed servo, Brushless servo, step, and microstepping motors from a single IC. Pilot motion control ICs are well suited to applications in medical automation, robotics, and semiconductor handling.
